For use with the 8000 Series Respirators, cartridges snap into the facepiece. Each cartridge comes with a new inhalation valve and features a snap-in mount that eliminates mis-threading. No spare parts are needed. The Smart Cartridge reduces inventory costs because it allows you to inventory just one cartridge, instead of several. NIOSH approved for Organic Vapors, Ammonia, Methylamine, Chlorine, Hydrogen Chloride, Sulfur Dioxide, Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Formaldehyde and Hydrogen Sulfide (escape only). Can be used with Moldex particulate filters (#8910 N95, #8940 P100, and #8970 R95) approved under 42CFR84 NIOSH regulations.
